On this Web page we discuss superfluous, outdated, non-scientific and stigmatizing psychiatric diagnoses as they appear in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), published by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Our purpose is to eliminate the diagnoses of Fetishism (F65.0), Fetishistic Transvestism (F65.1), and Sadomasochism (F65.5) from the current version of ICD (ICD-10).
Our goal is not to change the American diagnostic system, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) published by the American Psychiatric Association. However there are people in the US targeting the corresponding DSM-diagnoses.
